David Antioho
CPA, LPL Registered Sales Associate
David is a Certified Public Accountant and has 30 years of financial and accounting experience. Much of his experience involved investment related responsibilities and led to his interest in and desire to leverage that experience in investment and financial planning.
Following a number of conversations with his brother Dan, they together created Antioho Investment Planning Group, LLC, which was formed to provide clients with independent and unbiased advice and access to specialists who are able to offer a wide range of services, including tax, estate and financial planning.
A native of the upper peninsula of Michigan, David attended Michigan Technological University and holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration - Accounting. Shortly thereafter, he moved to the Chicago area where he began working in the accounting profession. David obtained his CPA Certification in 1983 and is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
David has a wide range of experience, including corporate and public accounting as well as financial planning. In the corporate setting, he was responsible for the creation of investment policies, cash flow management, and the implementation and oversight of retirement and investment funds, including retirement portfolios, 401(k) plans and not-for-profit endowment funds. He was also responsible for the development of a contract for and the sale of loans to the banking industry. In public accounting, David worked with small businesses on accounting, tax issues, and the preparation of individual tax returns. He brings this wide range of past experiences to his role as an LPL Registered Sales Associate.
David is active with his church where he has served as a board member, finance committee member, choir director, youth choir director and has lead project groups to a Navajo reservation in New Mexico. These experiences have given him a broad exposure to and sensitivity of diversity in interpersonal relationships.
He and Julie, his wife of 26 years, live in the Bartlett area and have four children: Megan, Heidi, Jeffrey and Robbie. Three of his children are in college and one recently graduated as a school teacher. David has coached junior soccer for his children’s teams and enjoys skiing, gardening, traveling, camping and other outdoor activities.
